You should take a look at this story on ESPN. Bonnie Richardson, a high school junior, is a Texas Division 1A state champion. In what sport, you ask? Track and Field. In what event? All of them! Well, sort of. Ms. Richardson, the only state qualifier from her school, qualified for five events (the maximum allowed), placed in all of them, and in the process earned more points that any other team combined. That’s amazing! I can’t even figure out what to compare it to. Even when Kobe scored 81 points, he still had 23 points less than the Toronto Raptors whom the Lakers defeated that day.
