Sharon Stoned?

So, normally I don’t get angry at celebrities for making foolish statements, but this time I make an exception.  Apparently, Sharon Stone, in all her wisdom, referred to the recent earthquake in China as “karma” for being “unkind” to Tibetans. 

Now, I’m not trying to make any type of comment on the situation in Tibet, but I would just like Sharon Stone to please explain to these mothers and fathers, who have lost their only children, that perhaps it was they who have apparently caused their own children’s deaths because somehow they should be held responsible for the Chinese government’s policy against Tibetans.  In fact, this is the same government that these parents are themselves protesting regarding the shoddy construction practices that led to many of the collapsed schools that killed thousands of school children. 

I just hope “karma” doesn’t bite Sharon Stone after she was “unkind” to all our eyes in Basic Instinct 3.
